I am a god. A god of repairing dohickies and whatchimacallits! I just fixed my headphones which have been out of operation since roughly October! I can now listen to my CDs in peace again and fall asleep without being bothered by other music! Woo hoo! Ahhhh there is joy in my life again!
Now for something completely different.
Mainly...wtf is going on at swank? I dunno about the other gentlemen of House 77 but I am lost as far as dear Colonel Sanders and Ed the Sock are concerned. Whatever, I guess its not that much out of the ordinary for those fine gentlemen from U of W.
Again, something completely blah blah etc etc....
Brad has done it. He has purchased an Xbox. A f***ing Xbox. With Halo, and four controllers. Undoubtedly our marks shall suffer, and we shall all get arthritis (more-so) within the term. I must hand it to him, he knows how to keep his roommates well entertained and ready for any alien invasions should they occur within the next few years. Lets hope so!

man....... this can't be good. last night (that'd be a tuesday for those playing along at home), we all gathered together in house 73 and a big game of Centurion was played.... andrew 'the MAC' kenzie was declared the winner as the most stable after reaching the magical 100. and yeah, most of us have class this morning. you'd think we'd learn, i mean we are at school to do something. but it appears that we haven't yet. on another note, we finally got that dv camera back into our possesion, so hopefully it wont be too long before we get some of our stupid antics up on the House 77 Productions site for you guys to watch. hang in there....

Happy Birthday Brad, and if you can't blame your age for your behaviour, you always have alcohol to point a finger at. Yea I guess last weekend carried on up to Monday. Tequila shots... boat races... one on one battles between Braddicus Cale and Andrew theMacKenzie, pretty impressive for a Monday, but also pretty scary. I paid the price by attending evening lectures to make up for the ones I slept through in the morning. So I'll try and lessen Super-Fun-o days... but if you catch me pissed drunk on a ridiculus day like Monday... I said "I'd try", not "I'm gonna do it"... Peesh

So I went over the limit for the first time this last week; now I truly belong at 77. Last night was fucking insane. I cannot believe we decided to get drunk on a Monday night of all times. Worst part was I had noooo food all day so I was dying with that shit in me. But whatever, it was fucking awesome, and boyo Brad is the first of us to git out of the teens, good riddance I say! Btw, I'd like to thank those that came on our parties on last Thursday and Friday, you all made it a brilliant weekend!

well, tonight was mostly a bust. the highlight was easily a big ass meal paid for by the mother of my good friend andrew, but the whole, hours of buses and shit kinda put a dampener on the whole thing. not to mention the whole nothing going on once we made it back to erindale.

Well, as a matter of fact, it does not have any problems at all. In fact, I am extremely happy with my purchase. Right from the get go when I checked out FS2002 it was worth it, the difference in picture clarity and quality is simply beyond my belief. I have never seen anything so amazing graphics wise! And check this...my frame rate GOES UP when I put it to a higher resolution!!!!!! Is that not the strangest thing ever? Gah, sooo happy, and I can crank Operation Flashpoint to 1600 by 1200 resolution and it still runs better then it did before. I am yet to try it out on any of the other first person shooters as unfortunately I haven't got any! (Andy I'll need to get Unreal off ya)
So anyway Im happy as hell here, u would not believe the graphics this thing can pull off

paul, to the best of my knowledge, the 8500 is NOT a suped up 7500. it's totally different architecture. the 7500 is basically a more powerful version of what i have, or the 64mb RADEON that has been onsale for awhile, while the 8500 is the "new" product. any similarities in problems would be merely conincidental i thinks.

Well...I am worried. I found a good deal for the ATi Radeon 7500 here in Caledon East...better then any other deal in Toronto in fact...and it'll be great cuz it'll give similar performance, perhaps better, to a GeForce 2 Ti....and yet I am now discovering that the 8500 doesn't like FS2002....the program I am getting a new video card for....Now, you are thinking, "but he said he's getting a 7500, not the 8500"....okay....well that is true...but the problem is, the 8500 is of course an advanced 7500....meaning that the 7500 might have problems with FS2002....and yet no one on the Flight Sim forums have actually mentioned the 7500. Everyone always talks about the 8500...and even on ATi's website, they say that the 8500 has problems with FS2002...but, they don't mention the 7500 as having similar problems. So I am lost as to what to do...and to make matters worse, I got the place in Cal East to order it...so its on its way...
What to do what to do! See you gents all on Sunday.

holy shit was that a crazy trip. yeah, so i got home at 11. that's right, 12 hours in a car baby. 3 legs: montreal to ottawa, ottawa to toronto, and toronto to walkerton.

oh, did i mention that my car got fuct on the way home, and that's why it took so long? it was leaking radiator fluid or something (so i'm told), and kept heating up, so my brother and i would drive for 2-3 minutes, then wait for the engine to cool down for 10. you couldn't imagine how funny this was. i'll post more on it later... happy new year everyone.
