ok, i've finally made it through this crazy week. way too much school work, but at least there was some fun. thursday i saw millencolin and friends, and friday i saw something corporate and guests.. both were some fun, and for your viewing pleasure jenn and i bootlegged some millencolin just for you. now, the audio is way loud, so remember to turn the volume down a ton on whatever your chosen player is. then it'll sound at least ok. but whatever. i still think it's pretty cool.
check it out.

Well, I am stuck now. Dad and I went out and bought the Asus P4P800 motherboard. It supports an Intel P4 3.2+Ghz processor with FSB800 and Hyperthreading, PC3200 Dual Channel DDR, 8XAGP 3.0, and comes with a built in LAN card and some other handy-dandy features. Got it for about $150 including tax, which is the absolute cheapest I have seen it or heard it advertised as. Now all that is left is the RAM, power supply, video card, and of course the processor, and I will have myself a new computer. Woooo Xmas!

Deftones Playlist:
Minerva
Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
My Own Summer
Moana
Digital Bath
Mascara
Around the Fur
Hexagram
Fireal
The Chauffer (holy crap I can't believe they played that)
MX
Bored

Encore:
Change (In the house of flies)
Root
Feiticeira
Needles and Pins
7 Words - with Say it Ain't So mixed in before the last chorus.

Thrice and Thursday were forgetable. Thrice was all scream, no balls. Thursday was all....out of whack, I think the singer was losing his voice...or something...I dunno...plus their set was honestly only like a half hour. Stupidly short.

But Deftones. Holy crap Deftones. Definitely the most amazing hard rock show I've ever been to. They played so many songs, it was stupid, I think they might have been on for two hours. I don't know for sure, I wasn't exactly checking my non-existent watch. Mosh pit was actually rather tame I thought...Bored, 7 Words and My Own Summer got pretty fuckin good, but I didn't get as many body surfers to the head as I thought I would. Not that I am complaining but still...anyway, RIDICULOUSLY awesome show. Arrow Hall did not fail to be awesome, and despite some disappointment from Thursday and Thrice, Deftones completely blew me away!

Just pulled what I basically consider my first all nighter...it's 5am...that is close enough to sunrise for me. I just burnt 1.31MB to a CD. What a fucking waste. It would have fit onto a floppy disk. Jesus. I am so tired. Tomorrow though is Deftones, Thursday and Thrice. Holy shit. Going to be the best show ever. Thrice is going to be entertaining I'm sure...Thursday will undoubtedly blow my mind...but I cant wait to see the Deftones. I hope they play Dai the Flu...I listened to that a bunch tonight...good tune. Yah...Deftones will end the earth as I know it. And then back to horrid, horrid work. Stupid WRI. Stupid VCC. Stupid 357. I will see Heather this weekend - at least she will brighten my day!
Sooooooooooooooooooo tired.

Dear HIS262 essay,

I thought you should know I won't be seeing you for a while. I met up with your sister, CCT260, and well... I dunno how to tell you, we hit it off. We never really had fun anyway, everything was about you. Double space here, indent there, footnotes here. I'm sick of it! Hopefully CCT260 isn't as needy as you. So before I start another assignment, I thought you should be the first to know. If you want to talk I'll be in the library with 260.

Sincerely,

Raging Alcoholic Boy Drunk Report:
Wow, haven't done one of these in a while. Mostly because if I've been drunk, I've become too stupid to remember anything (woo pyjama pub) or I haven't actually got drunk going out. Either way, last night was a very happy median.
Went to Ragavan's, the coach/captain/scrum half on the Erindale Eagle rugby team, for a rugger shindig. Representatives of House 77 alumni included myself, Mattie, Jessica, and then a good portion of the team showed up, including Rich, Jen, Steve, Dayon, Willy, Aleks, ther other girls from the team, and Adam. And oh my, Adam entertained. He was piss drunk when we got there at 9:45. He was piss drunk when he pissed in some guys gas tank. He was piss drunk when Mattie came inside to get Jessica and I to laugh at the car and the owner of said car overheard "something funny outside" and decided to join the party there. Adam was piss drunk when the guy started getting very mad. Adam was piss drunk when the guy realized Adam was a 6'2 giant who we don't call the "Crusher" for kicks. Adam was piss drunk when he hit on Jen - who is involved with a guy, and I might we thought Adam was involved with a girl - and Adam was piss drunk when he left for the night.
Other highlights included the long awaited return of the widow-maker! Indeed it had many happy customers, including basically the whole of the Eagle team. I was most pleased to give a demonstration to them all, however, on proper technique, and downed about two beers like it was nothing. It was funny because people thought Mattie was talking shit when he told them how fast it was going to go...and when it did go that fast, they shut right up.
Finally, we watched a tape of the Eagles last game that we played downtown...
Uh...yah, that just reminded me to check the rugby game.
ENGLAND WON!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wish I brought my debating hat last night. It was probably the most insightful conversation I've had at Mully's... probably the most insightful conversation at Mully's period. Joking, we love you Mulligan's, come'er and gimme a hug! *pat pat* Also called my History prof early this morn, she's a kind professor... probably the kindest professor at UTM period. Joking, I love you UTM, come'er and gimme a hug! *pat pat* I'm in my freaking underwear right now, I'm going back to bed.

Paul likes to chug. Soo yah....campus pub last night. I chugged a bottle of wine (from start to finish, CHUGGED) andddd then pretty much everything else is just...a blur. To say the least. I woke up this morning thinking "...when the hell did I get here?" I also found a cut on my hand. I also found I have no drivers licence or student card...though I hear Eric is the man to talk to about that. I don't think I was sick - though the room is STILL spinning right now. I'd say fun times but...I can't really remember most of them! Chug, Paul, Chug.

Essay is done... 357 assignment next. I'm at the Sheridan Mac lab now. All I wanna do is scan these magazines but I can't cuz CCT200 presentations are going on. This is my third serving of the British Diaspora, so far this presentation has been the best one due to the fact that they are handing out candy to ppl who answer their questions. Meh, back to this presentation and my new mars bar.

fyi - there's no limit on WebCT email attachments
- these Epson scanners are bloody fast

I have trapped myself in the library yet again. I've been squeezing this CCT200 essay out of my brain for the past three hours but all I've been getting is pulp. I'm almost there (by 'almost' I mean I've drank my third cup of coffee, outlined my title page, and picked a font). I just need a chant, or a mantra... maybe:

1) Hooray for essays!
2) Writing this essay is easy as beating Paul in soccer slam.
3) Number 2 sucks.
4) Write the damn essay so you can get your ass home.

I'm going with number 4. Stupid essays. Stupid Nemo.

Well, the Erindale Eagles unfortunately were unable to take home the Mulock Cup (the oldest university sports cup in Canada) in their game against the U of T Engineers. It was a hard fought game, with the final score tallying in at 15-13 for Skule A. We had a good chance in the second half of overtaking their score, but it was not to be.
Considering for the past four years Erindale hasn't even had a rugby team, and considering that Skule A has won the cup the past like...five...I would say that we did damned well considering. Congrats to the team for an awesome season, and cheers to the Skule A team, who were gracious winners...especially their fullback who celebrated with a victorious chug of Carlsberg from his boot! Now THESE are our Carlsberg years.

(those who are observant might have noticed this post has changed...that is because I am an idiot and put the score as 12-10 when it was actually 15-13, whoops)

If you run into Andy and if he's handing out rave flyers, run away as fast as you can.

Got some major running around to do as well. Heading to UTM, pick up papers, pick up fave brown sweater, then its off to square fun to drop off papers, then off to Loblaws to buy some food as I've been eating junk for the past week.

FYI: As you all know Matrix is out tonight (Imma bust out the calculator and count the number of Matrix related MSN names that appear on my list for this week), some ppl wanted to go to a late show so I'm thinking 11-12 show (if there is one). I'll see what's going down. If u need any info u know my pager#. PEACE!
