hahahaha woooooo. I thought I had to complete six courses during the second semester but thanks to summer school and a beautiful C in poetry, I am back on the proverbial track. I'm going to spend this extra time honing my skill in
Mr.Driller.

Time for another Raging Alcoholic Boy Drunk Report:
Minus the being drunk.
A trip to Madison's for an end of summer celebration with friends from home as well as the life of the party, Eric himself. We found ourselves with our own private patio as we found the only canopy that could really keep people dry (which is ironic because when it really threw it down and the canopy started to have pools of water collecting, we got the pushed the pools out...and apparently soaked people below on the lower patio) So we did very well.

Fun was had by all. Alcohol was had by all. Souza Gold is reigned supreme again as the tequilla shot of choice. Many laughs were had, many girls oggled. Many waiters/waitresses made fun of. And then on the drive home we saw two chicks making out at the corner of King and Spadina.

It was a great night as always. Makes me sad that summer is almost over.

just got back from the free broken social scene show. it was very very good. they played for 2 hours. pretty much everything was from
You Forgot It In People which definitely isn't a bad thing, but they also played some new songs, and at least one song from the new Apostle of Hustle cd. seeing that many people on stage was very cool, as hendrix said, "it's like a party on stage". they looked like they were having a great time and the audience couldn't get enough.

very, very cool.

Cottage plans have gone down the crapper thanks to black out period, where the days u book off mean jackshit to the managers. Puuuutttaa! Plan B it is. Broken Social Scene tonight. Usually plan b's lick sack, but in this case it's ridiculous. I am damn excited, as I've missed like a bajillion opportunities to see'em.

eating: mini nougat bars
auditory stimuli: Rusty - Groovy Dead
thinking bout:
Maria Stepanova

There is still a chance i can hit that cottage Saturday, cross ur fingers for me!

Well, it's about 6:20 in the morning. But I cant get away from the computer. Why you ask? Because I have obtained the new Jimmyeatworld Futures album. I havent had a chance to listen to all of it...but its more reminiscent of Clarity...which I think most people will agree is spectacular. So speaking of Jimmyeatworld...they are playing the Mod Club Sept.9th.

I wanna go.

I can admit right now that I am not a huge fan of the summer Olympics, so I am partially at fault for this...but does anyone else think that it is a damned travesty that Canada, one of the G8 countries...the best god damned country on earth...isn't even in the top 15 countries for medals, when ALL the other G8 countries are in the top 10? We really, really need to step up our support of our Olympians!

---Paul's 16 Rules For Attending Vans Warped Tour---

1. Start the day off with Yellowcard.
2. Enter a Billy Talent mosh pit with caution as they are extremely hazardous to your feet, head, and health in general.
3. Have a salad on the side of a meal, do NOT have the Salads on the side stages, or any stages for that matter.
4. Go into the Alexisonfire mosh pit.
5. Hear Alexisonfire play.
6. See Alexisonfire play.
7. Speak ...Alexisonfire...play? (tell other people about how good they are)
8. To hear great instrumentals, see Coheed and Cambria.
9. To enjoy an energetic set with good vocals, AVOID Coheed and Cambria.
10. Throw lots of bottles at Good Charlotte. Everyone else does. Because they suck.
11. Avoid Thursday fans, they are fanatical lunatics bent on singing every line of Thursday's songs, and will stop at nothing to suck the air out of the skies in order to do so (so much dust, such reduced lung capacity...nose...bleeding...passing out....*gasp* *thud*)
12. Taking Back Sunday can be enjoyed from outside the mosh pit, I encourage it to those who are in pain.
13. DO NOT THROW FUCKING SHOES.
14. Go to Vans Warped tour for excellent times.
15. Skip out Bad Religion and get home early to beat the god awful traffic.
16. Cheer for Kenny from Moneen.

That pretty much sums up my feelings of an excellent day at Molson Park in Barrie.

so hendrix and i are walking back from pizza pizza, this is like at 1:45am. and we're get to the corner of erin centre, and glen erin. we're about to cross when a cop pulls up heading west on erin centre. so we decide to actually wait for the crossing light to humour the police officer that was right there, and when the light's just about to change so we can cross we hear a police siren start from south on glen erin, then we see this speeding suv heading north towards us, his trunk, or rear window was wide open and he was flying down the road. swearving a bouncing with the bumps. behind this suv, in "hot pursuit" are 2 more police cars, then a large black van with the headlights flashing, then another cop car, then the guy that was sitting at the corner near us revs up his engine and enters the chase, then another undercover cop car goes by, then another regular one. all going very fast. after this hendrix and i decide to wait till the light makes it back to green for us before we cross the street. then we continued our voyage home.

but yeah. that was weird. and really, hendrix and i couldn't stop laughing at this guy in the suv, i mean, where is he gonna go? there are like 10 cop cars behind him, and they've all got radios that can call people in front of him. whatever, maybe we'll see it in the news tomorrow. but it was funny nonetheless.

City of God and sat down to watch it. the front cover of the dvd box says "Possibly one of the best films you will ever see." and i have to say that i definitely agree. beyond the whole, having to read the whole movie cause it's in brazilian portuguese it was awesome. many of you guys should definitely check it out.

Just purchased another batch of tickets. Third set in like...three weeks. Brad, dunno if Jen mentioned it to ya but Alexisonfire, Moneen, Hopesfall and Vendetta Red are playing at the Opera House on Sept 16th. So I bought a ticket for you. Drix and Jesse are down too.

On that note. My mastercard bill is going to SUCK this month. Three warped tour tickets. Two Sam Roberts and Sloan tickets, and four Alexisonfire and Moneen tickets. Will be like 350$. Ouch.

Well I won't back down, no I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
But I won't back down

Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
Gonna stand my ground and I won't back down

Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground and I won't back down

Well I know what's right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin' me around
But I stand my ground and I won't back down

Thinking cap is working overtime (that's my NY visor). Its overheating so Imma ease up on it. Too cool for school baby! I just replied to an email with, "FUCK YEA!" in regards to getting retarded in a couple of weeks. Two weeks from now I hope to replace papers with pints, brain cells with jail cells, grief with guitars, and books with BBQs.

These bastards are playing NBA Streets, by the time I pick up the controller I fear an ass beating of epic proportions.

I just found out the other day a titmouse isn't a mouse at all, it's a freaking a bird! Crazy man. Fuck edumakation, I got google! Back to the grind. Imma play my theme song and I'm outtie.

"yo, cut it
Soy un perdedor, I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me,
double barrel buckshot,
Soy un perdedor, I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me,"

Mouse Report 2004:
Today as I was about to get into some heavy comic reading, my mother said "Oh look there is the mouse." And so began an interesting evening...
Sadly, we trapped a mouse (humanely, thank you) and let it loose miles away in a field. Turns out that might be the mother to some babies. My parents found one and released it in the wild earlier this afternoon before I was home. I doubt it's still alive at this point considering what transpired with two others.

The one my mom commented on is currently in a green plastic bin (big thing, my dog could fit in it...not comfortably but this is a 3cm long mouse afterall) which I filled with some mulch, pebbles, and some kleenex and grass as bedding. I fed it some ground up dog treats which it seemed to eat and enjoy. It has some water, and is moving quite a lot, although its eyes aren't open. I later found another one. Smaller, looked weaker, but its eyes were opened. I read that I should ultimately be feeding them some kitten formula milk...so I went to get some. When I returned the weaker one was curled up on its side, having trouble breathing. *sigh* Sadly it didn't make it. God that sucks. But the other one seems to be doing okay, I really, really hope he makes it. Maybe I'll post pictures sooner or later.

Fuuccckkkk.

I met up with my group for the CCT206 group project the other day. No, I'm not gonna bitch out the assignment. I am however going to bitch about a group member. There's this one girl who I worked with before... carried her all the way to the finish line on the previous assignment. So why partner up with her again? The project we worked on was a film, and her lack of availability and effort was ridiculous. This project is an essay, and for some reason I thought she'd be good at it and things would be different, plus she told the prof I was in her group when I was away.

After discussing the topic it was evident she knew jackshit about it. I understand you learn about the subject after you research it, but she didn't even try to brainstorm ideas. Not a single cloud, just tumbleweeds in her mindscape. So after spoon feeding her an outline she asks who will be responsible for reading and editing the finished product, and quickly answers her own question with, "Not me because I'm bad with english." Don't even try to play stupid with me, I invented that game... (like I said). I'm not going easy on you, and I'm gonna make you work for the fucken mark. I'm simply going to hand her portion back to her and tell her to do it over and over.

There's a level of stupidity/laziness I can tolerate, but she doesn't try to hide it. If I seem like an angry kid for the next couple of weeks, you know why. Only bonus is I'm working with Melissa again. She won't let weak content sneak in. She's all about business and we see eye to eye on a lot of things. Yea I had a crush on her too but that's crush 3,885,677 and ancient history.

I'm done dumping on the blog, anyone got tissue so I can wipe my ass?
