Steph put the photos from the 14th up.

There's a few unflattering ones, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I heart my pals.

Aight, so Brad should have posted about this earlier (maybe he did, I can't recall to be honest)...but if you haven't seen it...
Entourage from HBO is possibly the best show...ever. Period. Just...download it...buy it, whatever, it's fantastic, it's about a dude from Queens who becomes a big movie star and has his three best buddies around. Just watch it, the scripting is amazing, and the actors do great jobs for TV. PLUS the plot is NOT that complicated so if you really wanted, you can jump in right away.

Also.
Episode five of season three has not one...not two...but THREE fucking Aston Martin DB9 Volante's. Also known as the single most beautiful convertible car. Ever.

So I'm sure that they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but the band Muse have got an
AMAZING video out for their song Knights of Cydonia. If you are like me, and get a nostalgic feeling for awful, awful 80s sci-fi special effects (ie. Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal (if you haven't seen that movie...download it...buy it...do whatever u can...it's amazing, Conan the Barbarian) and like cheesy stories, then this video is definitely for you. Check it out, the music is pretty cool too, fits in well with the video.

The Amps got a show in late August. Hahaha its in Kitchener. I'll see you all there.

I am royally fuct for tomorrow. I got home around 6pm, passed out, and now woke up at 10:30pm. On the upside that nap was what the doctor ordered. I feel physically and mentally rested. How this will translate to tomorrow... we'll see.

Not much else to report except:

- still need to see Superman
- still need a haircut
- still hitting them corners in them low low's girl

From fancy restaurant to grungy bar, last night was awesome.

Thanks to everyone for celebrating. I woke up with my gogs on, there's blood stains on my shirt, I can't find my phone, and I'm still a little hazy.

I'm tired and I want to go to bed.

So Drix and I went to see
The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. And I must say, I haven't enjoyed myself that much in a movie in a long time. It was fun, light-hearted, well-written, well-acted, had humour, adventure, suspense, and fleshed out all the characters and plot with a really well-paced story. I can see why it's made so much money. Kids will love it, teens should love it, people our age love it, and people my parents age can love it. It really just has appeal for everyone, I definitely suggest you all go see it!

Also, if you read Stella's blog, maybe you heard a recent song she played, called Dreams by a band calledTV On the Radio. Oh myyyy. Look for their stuff. Get it from the interweeb. Get it from HMV. Get it from iTunes. Get it whereever you can. It's so awesome. I would liken it to Broken Social Scene in it's eclectic and experimental sound, and then liken it to K-Os for its more groovey aspects. Anyway, go find it, it's kickass.

Speaking of BSS, the best interview ever was from the New Music when that absolutely bloody idiot Devin Soltendickhead asked Feist what her relationship with the band was, because apparently he was unaware that she is MEMBER. Ugh. Anyone else despise that guy? Is he emo? Is he gay? Is he metro? What IS Devin Soltendickhead?

Living out the rock n' roll fantasy in a Scarborough basement.

The Live Amps, LIVE! Recorded during Mike Rochford's birthday bbq a month ago.

Set List (apple/right click save target)
----------
Abbie
Free Jam
A song for Trace

Still learning, still practicing, still polishing. Its hilarious how 40 minutes of recorded noise can be condensed to about 6 minutes of usable material. Hilarious and sad haha.
